How can companies afford to give away free PS3's & XBox's?
One reason – commission. When you sign up to an offer, the company you sign up with (e.g. Lovefilm) pay a commission. When your family/friends sign up a commission is paid again. This money pays for your free gifts. It’s a simple idea and works!
This definitely works then?

Is this totally free - will it cost me anything at all?
When you sign up you need to complete an offer. Some are free (e.g. Lovefilm) whilst some have a small deposit (£5 or £10 at most) which you may get back. So, it can be 100% free but even spending £5 to get a games console, iPod or Macbook isn’t a bad deal!
Is it safe to provide my email address when I sign up?

What is a referral?
Once you sign up you will be given your unique referral link. This is what your family and friends need to use when they sign up. These sign ups are also known as referrals.
I can’t get enough family/friends to sign up – what can I do?
Don’t worry. There are many other ways you can get people to sign up:
